Privacy Policy

1. Information we collect

• Customer: name, mobile number, pickup/drop addresses, trip preferences, OTP verification records.
• Driver KYC: identity documents (Aadhaar), driving licence, profile photo, emergency contact, bank details — submitted by the driver during onboarding.
• Trip data: booking history, fare, distance, duration, status updates, and driver location during active trips.

2. How we use it

• To fulfil bookings, assign drivers, and provide live trip tracking.
• To verify driver identity before they can accept trips.
• To calculate fares, process payments, and maintain booking records.
• To send booking-related notifications (status updates, driver arrival).

3. Booking data privacy

Bookings can be looked up by customers using the booking code plus the registered mobile number. Driver and customer phone numbers are masked until the driver accepts a trip. A driver can only view trips assigned to them. Administrators have full operational access for support purposes.

4. KYC handling

All KYC documents (Aadhaar, licence, profile photo, bank details) are stored in a private storage bucket. They are never publicly readable. Only the driver who uploaded a document and authorised administrators can access it. Time-limited signed URLs are used for admin review.

5. Data encryption

Data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS. At rest, our hosting provider encrypts the database and storage bucket. Authentication tokens are stored only on the user's device.

6. Retention

Booking and trip records are retained for legal, tax, and dispute-resolution purposes. KYC records are retained for the duration of the driver's engagement plus the period required by applicable Indian regulations. You may request deletion of personal data subject to these obligations.

7. Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share information only with the assigned driver (for booking fulfilment), payment processors, and authorities when legally required.
