Terms & Conditions

1. Service

DriveMate Mumbai connects vehicle owners with verified professional drivers for one-way, round-trip, and outstation journeys within and around Mumbai. The vehicle is provided by the customer; we supply the driver.

2. Bookings & OTP

Bookings are created against a verified mobile number using a one-time password. By confirming a booking you agree to the displayed estimated fare, distance, and duration.

3. Fares & payments

Fare is calculated from trip type, route distance, and duration. The fare shown before confirmation is an estimate; the final fare may vary based on actual distance/time, waiting charges, tolls, parking, and applicable taxes. Payment may be collected by cash or supported digital methods.

4. Cancellation

Customers may cancel a booking from the tracking page before the trip starts. Repeated late cancellations may attract a fee.

5. Driver conduct & KYC

Drivers must complete identity (Aadhaar), licence, and bank verification before accepting trips. Drivers with pending or rejected KYC cannot be assigned bookings.

6. Liability

The customer retains full responsibility for their vehicle, fuel, insurance, fitness, and any traffic violations. DriveMate Mumbai is not liable for pre-existing vehicle conditions or losses arising from vehicle defects.

7. Acceptable use

Users may not misuse the service, attempt to access data belonging to others, or use the platform for illegal activity. Accounts found doing so will be suspended.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; the latest version always applies. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
